JoAnn sees adults as individuals and couples.
JoAnn holds a Masters in Counselling Psychology and is in the process of completing her registration with CCPA.
Jo-Ann is a compassionate therapist who recognizes that the therapeutic journey is deeply personal and unique for each individual. Understanding that different approaches resonate with different people, Jo-Ann skillfully tailors her methods to best support her clients. Whether working from a traditional “top-down” perspective—encouraging clients to process their experiences through the logical center of the brain (neocortex)—or employing a “bottom-up” approach such as brainspotting, which focuses on processing within the emotional center (subcortical), she adapts to meet the specific needs of those she serves.
Jo-Ann’s approach is holistic and person-centered, grounded in the belief that individuals are empowered to create meaningful change within an authentic and validating therapeutic space. By fostering a collaborative and respectful relationship, she supports her clients in gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and their perspectives, promoting genuine engagement in their everyday lives.
With empathy and insight, Jo-Ann offers a supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. She is dedicated to guiding individuals on a path toward self-discovery, healing, and lasting growth.
