Sharayah holds a Master of Arts in Counselling from Providence University College and is registered with PACCP. Her approach with clients is both empathetic and validating, providing a safe and non-judgemental environment to work through life's challenges.
Sharayah has experience working with people at various developmental and life stages as well as from various walks of life. She believes trust and safety are integral in bringing about change and growth and therefore strives to create an atmosphere of trust, respect and caring when working with clients. She believes sharing our stories can empower us to begin our journey of healing. It is an honour and a privilege to walk alongside clients on this journey.
Sharayah's training includes brainspotting. In it's newness to Canada, many clients wonder, what is brainspotting and how does it help? Brainspotting is a type of therapy that helps clients process difficult emotions and/or traumatic experiences. It uses different eye positions or "brain spots" to sort through memories. This can help clients become unstuck from different situations.
